Hi everyone,

So, first off, it seems to me that the counselors and advisers REALLY need to review these two draft policies because the rest of us faculty just don't have enough experience with the admissions and registration process to know if something "weird" has been slipped into the mix.

Second, in the Reg, large chunks of language that seem to basically repeat Arizona state laws on the topic have been deleted. This seems fine to me, but maybe not to everyone?

Third, both the SPG and the Reg have review and revision dates of 12/31/08 ... even though they are both posted for review now (early May). What gives with that?

Fourth, the SPG has an embarrassing number of grammatical errors. On numerous occasions, Pima Community College isn't capitalized. I think I even saw one instance of the United States not being capitalized. And I haven't even gotten started on split infinitives, poor sentence construction, etc.

That's it!

Nan
